Rachel was honored with the prestigious Edward R. Murrow and awards of excellence from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters as well as the Associated Press.
Her career has been a feature in newspapers and magazines that include The Detroit Free Press, The Oakland Press, Ambassador, Detroit Home, and Detroit Style, all of which have exposure and circulate to millions of readers.
She is best known for her tenure as co-host of the Mitch Albom Show, a News-Talk radio program based in Detroit.
As co-host, Rachel interviewed numerous celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Stephen King, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Paul McCartney, Billy Crystal, Ben Affleck, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Famed New York Times best-selling author Elmore Leonard included Rachel Nevada’s name as a character in his book Raylan due to her professionalism and interviewing style.
Rachel is a well-known, respected native of Detroit and resides in a nearby suburb.
